TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA â Volodymyr Kyrychenko, a Russian guy who fell in love with Indonesian culture made four enchanting paintings as his dedication to his love. This guy has been iving in Indonesia for two years whch give him a time to know more about wayang and batik.
The painting was hung and displayed on an art exhibition at âWant and Paintâ art gallery in Moscow, Russia. The exhibition is conducted for a week on August 24-29 2020. The four painting was named “Wayang Golek: He Loves Her”, “Arjuna”, “Whisper” and “Cepot”.
âThe painting stands out amongst another paintings displayed on the exhibition. It has strong unique character among others, â the Utusan of Indoonesian Embassador for Moscow Azis Nurwahyudi said on her visit to the gallery.
On the occasion Volodymyr explained about the meaning of his paintings to the deputy and several other visitors. He makes his painting beautifully with a typical Indonesian color.
âI hope my paintings could impress the Russian (who visited the exhibition). Iâd also like to contribute something for Indonesia. And through these paintings Iâd like to introduce Indonesia to all Russian, â Volodymyr Kyrychenko said. (*)
